Did you know that a molded brick has a pound of water in it?  Or that a small brick house requires over 50,000 bricks? Announcing,
Bricks 'n Brews!
Come join local historian Michael Welch to learn what’s behind the brick and mortar we see around our town.
January 23rd at 7 PM
RiverWalk Brewing Co.
40 Parker Street, Newburyport MA 01950
Bricks?! Really?! Bricks are an integral part of Newburyport’s cityscape with a misunderstood local history. Here’s your chance to better identify types and aging of bricks, understand how bricks are made both today and in the past, and hear about Newburyport’s own local history.
This event is sponsored by the Newburyport Preservation Trust.
